Do I need to sell anything?

No. You make the introduction. The buyer explains the process, scopes the data and makes the offer.

Is it awkward to bring this up with clients?

Most owners have never heard that their old email and Slack history has value. Leading with "Did you see Google paid $10M for a bankrupt airline's old records?" makes it an easy, interesting conversation. You're bringing them found money.

When do I get paid?

After the company you introduced completes its partnership and is paid. Deals often take about 60 days from intro to payment.

Can I introduce companies outside the US?

Yes. Outside the US the reward is 6% of the company's payment, with no minimum.
